57-59 Memorial Ave,
Liverpool, NSW 2170

South West Retina was founded in 2007 in Liverpool. The practice rapidly outgrew its original location on Moore St and in early 2011 moved to the corner of Memorial and Bathurst St. It is now the largest retina practice in south-west Sydney with 15 fellowship-trained subspecialist ophthalmologists consulting in the Liverpool office. Several doctors in the practice are heavily involved in clinical trials for macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and other retinal disorders.

Up to three doctors can consult concurrently across two adjacent properties in the practice. The main (blue) building is on the corner of Memorial and Bathurst St and the smaller adjacent (red brick) building is on Bathurst St.

The eye surgeons perform retinal, glaucoma and cataract surgery in public hospitals including Liverpool Hospital and Campbelltown Hospital, and in private hospitals including Liverpool Eye Surgery and Macquarie University Hospital.

Intravitreal eye injections, retinal laser (including PDT) and YAG/SLT laser procedures are performed in the practice.
